CHILDREN’S FISHING RODEO

These rules will be in effect from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

May 9th & 10th, 2009

1. The time of the rodeo is from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM May 9th, 2009.

2. Only Children 15 years old and under can fish.

3. Only one (1) fishing rod per Child.

4. No spinners or fly-fishing.

5. Adults may bait hooks and supervise Child, but Child MUST do their own fishing.

6. Four (4) trout per Child.

7. Each Child must have their own stringer.

8. No horseplay and no leaving rod with line in water unattended.

9. Keep fishing area clean, NO littering! Use cans for trash.

10. Only Children 15 and under can fish on May 10th & 11th. NO Adults either day.

11. Fishing can only be during daylight hours.

SPECIAL INFORMATION AND AWARDS

1. All fish must be measured before leaving the pond area.

2. Each Child receives a goodie bag when registered. Enclosed in the bag are 2 bingo

                 chips, which are good for 2 free hot dogs. Please return bingo chips when

                 getting hot dogs.

3. Children get free soda.

4. There will be 2 trophies given out on May 10th:

1 for the boy catching the biggest fish

1 for the girl catching the biggest fish

NOTE:  These trophies are awarded to the Children catching the fish and having

  them registered by 4:00 PM, Saturday, May 9th, 2009.

5. Door prizes will be given out when you leave.

PLEASE NOTE THAT RULE #11 IS A NEW RULE. CHILDREN FISHING AFTER THE DAY OF THE RODEO CAN ONLY FISH DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS. THIS IS FOR SAFETY REASONS. THANK YOU AGAIN.
